Europub 2008
With England not qualifying for Euro 2008 (deservedly), it struck me that the thing I was going to miss the most was those “looking forward to going to the pub” moments, and that the rest of the tournament could seem a bit, well, flat without such experiences.
So, being as I live in a marvellously multicultural city, I – and a select bunch of associates – set out to watch Euro 2008 in as many nationally-themed pubs as possible. And support their teams, drink their beer and eat their food.
Game on.

Brilliant use of the English language to document the rise and fall of nations across europe. I do however believe that ommolleettee is swedish, therefore cannot condone the bad mouthing of your fellow supporter.
Keep it up!

I agree w’ thee ont’ subject ‘ole-artedly, pal, but EE by Gum, I reckon England’ll will win through t’ finals, where Rooney’ll score the winning penalty in a match that finishes 5-3 to Germany.
